Camarena’s unparalleled talent has earned him a place in history as the only singer to perform a bis (an encore) in three different productions at the Metropolitan Opera, including “La Cenerentola” (2014), “Don Pasquale” (2016), and “La Fille du Régiment” (2019). His extraordinary achievement of delivering encores in all seven performances of “La Fille du Régiment,” broadcast worldwide in the MET Live in HD series, further solidified his reputation as a vocal virtuoso. He replicated this feat at other prestigious venues such as Madrid’s Teatro Real, Barcelona’s Liceu, and the Royal Opera House.

The following season, he graced the stage in productions such as “La Favorita” at the Donizetti Festival, “Elixir de Amor” at the MET in New York, and “La Traviata” at the Monte Carlo Opera, among others.
