Elsa Dreisig is a French-Danish soprano born on May 29, 1991, in Paris. Raised in a musical family, with her father, Gilles Dreisig, being a conductor, and her mother, Bodil Arnesen, a lyrical singer, she was immersed in music from a young age.
Elsa Dreisig studied at the Paris Conservatory and then at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon. Her career took off in 2015 when she won first prize at the “Neue Stimmen” competition in Germany, which opened doors to major international stages.
She has performed in renowned opera houses such as the Zurich Opera House and is known for roles like Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, and Violetta in Verdi’s La Traviata.
In 2016, she was named “Révélation Artiste Lyrique” at the Victoires de la Musique Classique. Her growing acclaim and exceptional performances have established her as a rising star in the opera world.
